An innovative kabocha/butternut cross that produces high yields even under stress. Unique parentage bestows vine borer resistance and powdery mildew tolerance. Cooks will appreciate its sweet, nutty flavor and versatility in the kitchen. Exceptionally long storage potential. Can be used as a rootstock for enhancing vigor and soil disease resistance in melon, watermelon, and cucumber. NOTES: 1) Cure 6 weeks before eating. 2) Must be grown near butternut, kabocha, hubbard, or buttercup squash to produce fruit. Avg. weight: 3–5 lb.
